DETEX MS is a short delay non-electric detonator whose function is to detonate cap sensitive explosives. It does not damage the column charge in the hole. It can be produced in the desired shock tube length up to 500 ms with 25 ms delay intervals. It can be ignited with the surface connection detonator, electrical detonator and a minimum 5 gr/m detonating cord.

Usage Suggestions

During use, care should be taken not to damage the connection blocks, shock tube and other plastic apparatus.

Detonator caps should be kept away from all kinds of impact, friction and force.

The shock tube should not be knotted or overlapped two or more times in the connection block.

The bottoms of the detonators should always be held in the opposite direction (outward) from our body.

Shock tubes should never be pulled, stretched or bent excessively.

Connections of surface detonators should only be made by authorized personnel after all holes are filled and tightening is completed.

Detonators should always be handled and used with care and attention.

Storage Conditions

Like all explosives, DETEX MS should be stored and transported in accordance with Decree No. 87/12028 "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Hunting Equipment and Similar Explosives Excluded from Monopoly".

Sensitivity

DETEX MS is a non-electric ignition system. The DETEX SD can be ignited with a surface connector, an electric detonator and a minimum 5 gr/m detonating cord.

DETEX MS is classified as dangerous and explosive material. Transport, handling and using of this product by people who are not qualified by reason of training, experience and authorization may cause injuries and fatal accidents. Therefore; carriage, use, and, when necessary, destruction or disposal of the product should be performed in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Decree no. 87/12028 "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles for Hunting Equipment and Similar Items related with Non-Monopoly Explosive Articles " and regulatory provisions in force.
